Our Story
Breeder: Salina Witte
Thank you for taking the time to visit Magnolia Rose Bulldogs. My objective is to raise French Bulldogs who are healthy, athletic, and socially engaged, thereby adding to their new families as full-fledged members.
I have had experience in teaching and training kids and adults in many fields. Since 2017, I started training dogs of all breeds for a company with many locations throughout the USA. I have since left that job to pursue my own business ventures but still train dogs as a hobby part time. I also have experience in training dogs that have behavioral issues. I believe all dogs can benefit from obedience training.
I have seen the best and the worst behavior in many breeds. Working with French Bulldogs, however, stole my heart. I absolutely loved training these stubborn, playful, energetic, and loving dogs. It is also important to note that French Bulldogs are prone to a number of health issues, such as breathing problems and spinal issues. I wanted to do something to address that so our time with them can be longer, healthier and more rewarding.
I love creating a program that provides a quality training experience and teaches each puppy to seamlessly transition into their new home. It is so important to create positive experiences through out a dogs life, but especially the first 6 months of a puppy's life. This helps them stay social with both humans and other animals but also as a productive and happy member of a family who is able to join in every situation.
I am excited to have the support of my family on this adventure because it takes a village to help puppies start off on the right foot. Each experience and interaction with the world shapes their behaviors, alongside genetics. Here at Magnolia Rose Bulldogs, we go above and beyond average breeders to ensure that our puppies are recognized as top quality. My training program is specifically designed to help these new family members feel welcome to all visitors who come to their homes.
To emphasize how much we care about their experience, we personally visit the overseas breeders from whom we purchase our breeding puppies for our program. This allows the puppies to fly in the cabin with us, which helps reduce their anxiety and makes them feel more comfortable in an uncertain environment. It also establishes trust between us and our new addition. We spend some time in the breeding country with the puppy before flying home to aid their transition from the breeder to our family, while avoiding overwhelming them with too many new experiences.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my horses, and hiking with my animals. Tennessee is where we spend most of our free time with our crew that travels with us.
