Puppy Program Imformation

Take Home Age

At Magnolia Rose Bulldogs, we strive to deliver the best possible experience to our customers. As part of that promise, we've also established a framework that helps us determine the best time to send our puppies to their new homes. For these reasons, we are very clear about our practice of not sending puppies home at eight weeks. We find it best to wait to send the puppies home until they’re 12-15 weeks old. This age range is great for the puppies because they are able to explore beyond the confines of their litter, but their primary focus is still being part of the litter. This helps them to interact naturally and learn from each other. We find this time provides a great launching pad for positive socialization and assists in successfully guiding puppies past the fear stage.

Our Training Program

We are committed to giving each puppy the best start in life.  Our non-negotiable training program is included with the purchase of each puppy. This program prepares each puppy for life outside of its litter. We believe in matching puppy owners with the best pup for their needs. To that end, each puppy in the litter undergoes a Volhard Puppy Aptitude test to select which puppy is the most suitable for a given training program and homes. We examine the puppies to understand their unique personalities. The puppies we train learn to walk on a leash, sit, lie down, come, and stay. They also learn how to interact with people and other dogs. Finally, each puppy gets kennel exposure and a good start on potty training.
